- We are delighted to introduce the ST & SC Complaint
Cell at NIET, in accordance with the norms prescribed by the All India Council for
Technical Education (AICTE) and Bikaner Technical University. The establishment of this
cell reaffirms our commitment to safeguarding the rights and promoting the welfare of
students belonging to Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Scheduled Castes (SC) categories.
- At NIET, we firmly believe in providing equal
opportunities for all students, irrespective of their background, and ensuring a
supportive and inclusive environment. The ST & SC Complaint Cell has been established
with the primary objective of addressing any concerns, grievances, or discriminatory
practices faced by students from the ST and SC categories. This cell serves as a
dedicated platform to protect their rights and promote social equality on our campus.
Key Objectives of the ST & SC Complaint Cell:

Guidance: The ST & SC Complaint Cell is committed to providing support, guidance, and
assistance to students belonging to ST and SC categories. The cell aims to create an

- Grievance
Redressal: Students are encouraged to approach the ST & SC Complaint Cell to register
any grievances they may have regarding unfair treatment, bias, or discriminatory

resolving these grievances promptly and justly.
- Counseling and
Mentoring: The cell offers counseling and mentoring services to ST and SC students,
understanding the unique challenges they may face in their educational journey. Trained

help students overcome obstacles and achieve academic success.
- Sensitization
and Awareness: The ST & SC Complaint Cell conducts sensitization programs and awareness
campaigns to educate the campus community about the rights and challenges faced by

staff.
